One of the very few green teas from Sri Lanka. This tea is harvested from China Jat leaves in the high elevation region of Nuwara Eliya. The dried leaves are large and well twisted and capable of multiple infusions. Liquor is flavorful because of the elevation.
Because the leaf has little oxidation, green tea reportedly contains the highest concentration of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. These antioxidants in green tea have been shown to neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause.
