This washed Arabica coffee is from the Takengon region of Northern Sumatra. We roast it just long enough to reveal its earthy overtones with just enough acidity to balance the taste. Purchasing this coffee helps support the humanitarian efforts of the Gayo Mountain project, bringing self-reliance to the region.

All of our coffees come in either whole bean or ground coffee. For maximum freshness, we recommend whole bean coffee that you ground just before use. If you prefer ground coffee, we grind it for free just before we ship it to you. Please specify which you would like when placing the coffee into your cart. If no selection is made, we will ship it whole bean. For those on a Kosher diet, our coffee is certified Kosher as well.
