Organic Ethiopian is our combination of exceptional coffee beans from three Ethiopian regions, Sidamo, Gemardo and Djimmah. Each estate brings a distinct characteristic that reflects the unique nature of Ethiopian coffees. Ethiopia Meritage is roasted medium-dark to highlight the delicate citrus nature of the Sidamos while coaxing the spice and pepper tones of the Djimmah and Gemardo. A true marriage of fine estates and the right roast for these elegant beans. Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee. Legend has it that coffee was first discovered by a goat tender who noticed that his flock grew particularly excited after nibbling on a bush and its bright red fruit. He tried some, liked it and the rest, as they say, is history.

All of our coffees come in either whole bean or ground coffee. For maximum freshness, we recommend whole bean coffee that you ground just before use. If you prefer ground coffee, we grind it for free just before we ship it to you. Please specify which you would like when placing the coffee into your cart. If no selection is made, we will ship it whole bean. For those on a Kosher diet, our coffee is certified Kosher as well.
